From the AffantSECURE line of solutions, AffantIPS offers a managed, fully automated 7x24 intrusion detection, alert and prevention system. The AffantIPS (Intrusion Prevention System) utilizes the AffantSECURE Network Operations Center to detect attempted intrusions into the network with real time notification and prevents the intrusion from infiltrating the network.   Affant has developed the automated system supported by a trained and certified team of Affant Engineers who are alerted in the event live assistance is needed.   AffantIPS incorporates client-reporting packages for a variety of online executive and technical activity reports.

The standard service includes sensors for 3 zones upgradeable to 5 zones.   Advanced systems allow for up to 12 zones and can accommodate gigabit speeds.   AffantIPS can be implemented with any combination of internal, external, DMZ, extranet or custom sensor points.  

Multi-zone information correlation assures origination determination to track down the source and target. In the event of an intrusion attempt or attack, AffantIPS responds by blocking, recording and analyzing the details of the attack.   Attempts deemed high level, generate responses and Security Engineers will report the detection while responding to the attack.
