The Affant Engineering Team has seen a spike recently in the amount of virus activity on client networks. It is best to plan for these occurrences and prepare your network accordingly. In brief, a review of all network systems and confirmation of the following:

All public servers are properly patched and locked down.
All Windows workstations checked and updated with the latest patches from Microsoft.
All external access to the network should be provided by VPN client.
An up to date Anti-Virus solution is installed and running on all workstations.
